Music normally starts in the Jazz Village on the clifftops overlooking the sea at midday on Friday, building up until late evening. On Saturday and Sunday, there is normally jazz on stage in venues around Ventnor at various times from 11am and the Winter Gardens opens later into Saturday night for those dancing away at the Messin' Around Club Night. The Jazz Village also houses the fabulous 1930's/1940's themed bar which creates a special atmosphere, arts and craft stands, sponsor displays, food including paella and churros, festival admin and information point. Due to reasons beyond the company's control, council run venues in Ventnor were denied or not in fit condition for April 2010. |
