East Dene: (Allnatt Centres) Fascinating building with the majority of its interiors untouched over the centuries. Former home of the poet Swinburne, East Dene is in Bonchurch at the Eastern end of Ventnor. It is a residential centre for school field trips and students mostly but also offers hostel style accommodation to groups attending the jazz festival and is indeed the jazz festival venue.
